Hey everyone! Here I am again with some more inspiration for the Make It Colourful challenge. This time it's eyes. I do love drawing and colouring eyes, so I loved this challenge. We've used some GORGEOUS new digi's for this one... the Portraits collection. I coloured them up with different mediums because I wanted to see how different they'd turn out. Anyway, without further a do, here they are...

Here's 'Ginger' using coloured pencils

Here's 'April' using graphite pencils

And here's a quick 'mess about with ideas' using 'Melyssa'

As I did mention on my previous post I would post some drawings, here they are... EYES of course! ;)

Ok, so the last one is a bit creepy,
but it's an eye and it's a little bit different... I enjoyed doing it.

It would be lovely if you would join in with this challenge. It's great for practicing skin tones and eye reflections. Don't forget to take a look at the rest of the challenge teams GORGEOUS creations!

Thanks for popping by... :)

Hello folks! Sorry once again for being MIA for so long. I am the worlds worst blogger, as we all know. I'm back though with some good news... I'm a proud member of the Make it Colourful inspiration team :) Lord only knows why Zoe wanted me back in there when they're all so awesomely talented and then there's me. I'll have to work extra hard to try to keep up with those gals!

Anyway! Let me say a big thank-you to all my new followers and the lovely comments I received whilst I was in hiding... Sorry for not picking them up, but I did leave my blog totally abandoned due to being mad busy with everything outside of the internets.

I've also been doing some doodles and whatknot which I might upload in a few days ;)

The theme for the MIC challenge is to create a spooky background OR colour an MIC image using black & orange OR both combined... whatever you want to do. I chose the difficult challenge of the spooky background (which really wasn't that difficult because I cheated by using a fan brush and some white acrylic paint... shhhh...).

Here it is...

I've recently started playing with my coloured pencils again, so I colored the house with those and did the sky with Promarkers. I also added a few trees and the moon to give it added atmosphere and dabbed over with the white acrylic paint. Easy!

Hope you like it and hope it's inspired you all to join the challenge!

Don't forget to join us on the MIC Facebook group. Lots of inspiration and fun to be found! :)

Thanks for looking

HUGE hugs...

Hello my lovely people! Sorry I've been away so long but I've been really busy with life stuff.
I'm back now with a card I made for the Inky Chicks DT. The theme is Birthday Girl... a fairly easy one, so I'm sure you can join in ;) The sponsor this time are Cult Pens with a prize of  a £10 voucher for you to spend online.

Here's the card I made... hope you like it!
I colored Tilda with copics, promarkers and Flexmarkers.

Don't forget to check out the Inky Chicks challenge blog to see the rest of the teams gorgeous creations and play along with us!

Huge Hugs!

Hi all! It's me... I'm back again! Sorry for the long break, but as usual life takes over, busy, busy, busy... and before you know it three months have passed. I hope you've all been keeping well and been good! LOL!  It's not all been a grind, Myself, Pete and Boz had a three week holiday sightseeing in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy... The most wonderful places for me were Florence, Assisi and Monte Cassino... if you ever get to tour Italy, try and visit at least one of those places :)

I suppose it's time to do my usual card update, so here goes...

Here's a Tilda all coloured up and ready to be made into a card... eventually ;)

Well that's all I've done so far! All coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics. If you have any questions or anything please comment below and I'll get back to you ASAP ;)

Oh... before I forget, I am doing a Promarker colouring class at The Craft Box, Elsecar Heritage centre on Saturday 27th of October if any of you live close by and want to book a place. Contact Lynn on 01226 350532

HUGE HUGS...

Howdy folks! Here I am again... this time with a triple shadow box frame containing some little nautical Tilda's. I'll have to apologise for the bad photo of the full frame, it was really difficult trying to get a good shot as the frame is so long... also the glass having the reflective surface didn't help either :(

here it is...

And here are some close up's... (don't look too closely! LOL!)

Well, that's it for today from me. Hope you've enjoyed looking and thanks for popping by!

Hi again! I'm just popping by with a few more cards and projects I've made over the past week... The two 'witchy' shadow box frames were made for someone by special request, but unfortunately on the first one I didn't get a good briefing and did it a bit too bright. Also, she wanted it based around the film 'Practical Magic'. The second one was spot on... thankfully! LOL!

Saturated Canary digi, coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics :)

My handmade broom and spell book :)
And below the tiny potion bottles...

The darker version...

Handmade scrolls & candles, requested wording on the bottles...
with a better spell book (I think!)

I made the frame from a mold I made from a frame! LOL! I'm becoming an expert broom maker too :D

I didn't think I'd be making anything so 'Halloweeny' in June, but I quite enjoyed the challenge :)

And now onto something a bit more simple and non-halloweeny...

Baby Tilda, colored with promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics :)

Possibly the smallest stamp I've ever coloured and used on its own! This is taken from the GORGEOUS free set of Sylvia Zet stamps on the front of  Papercraft Essentials. Needless to say I didn't use a lot of ink on this tiny pair of cuties! LOL!
Coloured with Flexmarkers :)

Well, that's it for now from me... I hope you've enjoyed looking! Thanks for popping by and any lovely comments you might leave :)

Have a great day!
